Superbowl Sunday = Need for Perfect Man Chair

Was Archie Bunker’s easy chair the first incarnation of the Man Chair? Perhaps you want to surprise him the perfect Man Chair. Where do you start? Or you are the guy wanting to take the lead on finding that one chair that you claim as your own. My first piece of advice is open up your sources and set no deadlines. If it’s Monday and you want this chair for this weekend’s Superbowl Sunday, sorry but you are likely setting yourself up for failure. Have a New Seat in the Old World

A seating vignette is one of my favorite things to play with in a home. Recently, I found myself exploring a quaint artisan Mexican town and resting in a wonderful home called Casa Cino. This house was overflowing with charming and inviting seating areas. The town of San Miguel is called the Santa Fe of Mexico.  This artisan community evolved over the last 500 years and at least 10% of the 80,000 people are Americans who live here. Touring Casa Cino, one of the newer built homes, was a spectacular experience of seeing Old World architecture and design replicated by current day craftsman. Read more
